I really wish we (Americans) would switch to the metric system. The US system has made things difficult for me occasionally when I go abroad. In fact, it has downright disabled me. You know, those of us Americans that like to go outside the US Bubble and travel? This is one of the myriad of things taught to us that blows. In closing, the conversions are not pretty.
